Later today Norwalk Mayor Rilling and Senator Duff will make an announcement concerning creating a pedestrian bridge along a portion of Connecticut Avenue.

Officials say a pedestrian bridge is needed and would provide a dedicated, safe pathway for pedestrians along Connecticut Avenue.

Community members have raised concerns regarding a missing sidewalk connection over a bridge, opposite Rampart Road. At this location, the sidewalk ends for approximately 175 feet before resuming.
