The Long Island Rail Road says limited service has been restored on the Montauk branch between Babylon and Patchogue as crews responded to a broken rail.
The LIRR urged customers to consider using alternate forms of transportation.
There was no immediate word on when service on the Montauk branch would be completely restored.
