Water pressure has returned to most customers in Baldwin, South Hempstead and Oceanside after a water main break in the Baldwin-Oceanside border, according to Liberty Water.
The utility says crews were dispatched after the water main broke at 2 p.m.
The crews isolated the leak and restored water pressure to most customers under two hours.
Nassau County police says a portion of Parkview Place is closed at Wateredge and Fairview avenues.
Liberty Water crews were providing water bottles to impacted customers in Parkview Place as of Saturday evening.
