We are less than 24 hours from a possible engineers strike that could happen as early as 12:01 a.m. Friday.
There is still no deal between NJ Transit and The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen.
However, both sides seem optimistic about contract talks.

"It’s been a constructive conversation," said Kris Kolluri, NJ Transit president and CEO.
"I’m optimistic that we’ll be able to reach a deal," said Tom Haas, general chairman, B.L.E.T.
Both parties went to Washington, D.C. for mediation on Monday, however no details from the latest rounds of negotiations were released.
