The remnants of Sunday's snowstorm can still be seen across Hoboken. The snow is making it hard for residents, commuters and visitors to park within the city.

Longtime Hoboken resident Hovie Forman was working on clearing out his car and parking spot on Wednesday afternoon.

"I think we are gonna be here an hour, hour and a half," Forman said.

Forman says parking in the city has always been hard, and the snow doesn't make it any easier.

He believes that Mayor Emily Jabbour is doing a good job at trying to keep the city's streets and sidewalks clear.

A total of 11 inches of snow fell in Hoboken over the weekend. All emergency snow routes are currently open to parking, and street cleaning is suspended until further notice.

"Hoboken is doing an amazing job - we actually were able to open schools on Tuesday on a delayed opening. Most of the districts around us were closed, but we were in such good shape in terms of the ability to move around," said Jabbour. "We have focused a lot of energy on clearing sidewalks and corners and that allowed us to reopen ahead of other districts."
