It's the last chance to get holiday gifts for shoppers who were heading to the Tanger Outlets in Deer Park on Christmas Eve.

Shoppers say they started early Wednesday morning to beat possible crowds and traffic later in the day.

There were even a few lines outside of stores.

The Tanger Outlets in Deer Park says they've experienced a strong holiday shopping season throughout December.

Some admitted they're cutting it close this year with shopping but did find some deals.

"Today, it's good for right now, it'll probably get busy because Christmas snuck up on everybody this year," Deer Park resident Kim Henderson said.

"Just trying to get everyone, all the ducks in a row and hopefully we didn't leave anyone out," Smithtown resident Alex Hoffman said.

There's still time left to get to the outlets -- Tanger in Deer Park is open until 6 p.m.
