A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday in Lake Grove, police say.
They say a woman was crossing Nesconset Highway, near Hallock Road, when she was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound at 6:20 a.m.
The victim, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
