        Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) ranked dead last in customer satisfaction among mega airports in JD Power's 2024 North American Airport Satisfaction Survey.
        The survey evaluated airports in three categories and considered six key factors, including terminals, arrivals and departures, baggage claim, security, check-in, and food and beverage options.
        Travelers cited navigation issues, outdated facilities and inconsistent experiences across terminals.
        The Port Authority responded, stating plans to improve the airport experience, including replacing the outdated AirTrain and investing in transformations to make Newark Liberty a "world-class gateway" for New Jersey.
