Fire officials say fire started at 3 Honeysuckle Lane at 3:20 a.m.
Neighbors told News 12 that the family managed to escape their burning home unharmed. They’re being helped by residents on the block.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries and were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital.
It was not immediately clear what caused the fire.
