Sledding conditions were "perfect," according to some young residents on Monday.

With snow across the borough, some areas like Prospect Park, are a winter wonderland. Many kids took advantage of the day off of school to head outside and use their sleds.

News 12 had fun in the snow catching up with some of the kids. They say the key to a good run down the hill is power.

Others were out with snowboards. Some even brought their skates to use on the frozen over ponds.
