A juvenile was struck by a vehicle in Bethpage on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

Officers responded to a reported auto accident near the intersection of Sherman Avenue and 7th Street at approximately 3 p.m., according to Nassau County police.

Police said the incident involved a juvenile who was hit by a vehicle and was subsequently airlifted to a nearby hospital.

Their current condition is unknown.
