A day at the mall became a day with the arts in Elizabeth. Hundreds of talented youngsters entertained shoppers at the Mills at Jersey Gardens.

Sunday was Wharton Arts Day at the mall. About 700 kids put on a show. There were singers and musicians among the group. The event was described as a giant musical party. Members of the New Jersey Youth Chorus, Youth Symphony, Paterson Music Project and the Performing Arts School were there.

Some of the donations went to helping those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.

Wharton Arts is a nonprofit performing arts education center. They're located in Berkeley Heights, New Providence and Paterson.
