If you volunteer for your town — whether it be fire department or rescue squad — why do you do it? There's no money, little recognition. You do it to help others.
That's not lost on some kids in Morris County.
To thank the volunteers of the Randolph rescue squad, the kids at Ironia Elementary sent over candy and notes of appreciation.
Second graders wrote a variety of thank yous for the service that rescue squad members perform in giving their time for others.
