Towns all around New Jersey are putting up American flags to honor veterans ahead of Veterans Day next week. The Rotary Club of South Amboy and Sayreville put up flags all along MacArthur Avenue in Sayreville. A community member sponsored each flag to honor veterans, first responders, teachers and anyone else who has been in service of others. The Rotary Club is hoping to raise 100 flags this year and to make this a yearly tradition. There will be a ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sayreville.
