We don’t casually throw around the word “legend,” but the title fits one man at Fair Lawn High School in Bergen County. Dick Englehardt has followed Fair Lawn football for 75 years. He spent 28 of those years as the team’s PA announcer. Englehardt was honored during a game this month, with his family there to celebrate his decades of dedication to the school and its teams. "It's just a wonderful thing. I didn't expect it until the other day when they called me. Very happy. It culminates 75 years," Englehardt says.

Englehardt is making Jersey proud as each year goes by.
