        Jersey Proud: 12th annual Tackle Sickle Cell Blood Drive held at RWJ Hospital

        The event was organized by the McCourty Twins. Jason and Devin McCourty are Rutgers alums and former NFL players.

        The 12th annual Tackle Sickle Cell Blood Drive was held at RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick.
        The event was organized by the McCourty Twins. Jason and Devin McCourty are Rutgers alums and former NFL players. They were on hand to thank the donors. The twins even brought a Super Bowl trophy along with them.
        Eighty-five people donated blood during the event. At least 2,800 patients have been impacted since the drive began.
