        Jackson Township Shotgun Fire 80% contained, threats reduced

        The New Jersey Forest Fire Service said as of 10:30 a.m. Friday that the fire had burned 350 acres, is at 80% containment, and is no longer threatening any structures.

        Crews are making progress on containing the Jackson Township Shotgun Fire.
        The New Jersey Forest Fire Service said as of 10:30 a.m. Friday that the fire had burned 350 acres, is at 80% containment, and is no longer threatening any structures.

        Forest Fire Service crews continue to wet down hot spots.
        Smoke conditions are expected to remain, especially during the early morning hours, until the region receives significant rainfall.
