The New Jersey Forest Fire Service said as of 10:30 a.m. Friday that the fire had burned 350 acres, is at 80% containment, and is no longer threatening any structures.

Overnight smoke caused visibility issues along South Stump Tavern Road in Jackson, but the smoke significantly dissipated a few hours after sunrise.
Forest Fire Service crews continue to wet down hot spots.
Smoke conditions are expected to remain, especially during the early morning hours, until the region receives significant rainfall.
