A convicted felon from Milford is facing charges for being in possession of a ghost gun, police say.

Police conducted an investigation into Vincent Musante last month.

Officers discovered that Musante had an AR-15 rifle and a handgun, neither of which had serial numbers.

Police also found extended magazines which Musante is not allowed to possess.

Musante was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm without a serial number, and two counts of possession of a large capacity magazine.

Musante was held on a $500,000 bond and appeared in court Jan. 23.
