Police were seen at Camelot Funeral Home in Mount Vernon Tuesday, according to people who live and work nearby.
A spokesperson with the city tells News 12, "There was an incident at Camelot that is under active investigation by the AG’s office."
News 12 reached out to the New York State Attorney General's Office for more details.
News 12 reported
about an indictment earlier this year by the attorney general's office against Michael Naughton, the director of the home. He's accused of operating it without a license.
On Wednesday, News 12 called the number listed on the front door of the funeral home. A man who said he was the owner told News 12, "No comment."
