The memory and trauma of the Oct. 7 attacks in Israel are still raw for many members of New Jersey’s Jewish communities, even three years later.
The Hamas attack left about 1,200 people dead, and 250 people were kidnapped – including Tenafly’s Edan Alexander.
Alexander was a member of the Israel Defense Forces, serving in Israel when he was kidnapped. He was held captive for more than 580 days before he was released back to his family.
News 12’s Eric Landskroner spoke with Alexander’s parents, Yael and Adi, about their son’s ordeal and how the last three years have impacted their family.
