A 47-year-old man has been charged in connection to a Bay Ridge murder investigation.
Sources say the man arrested in connection with the case, Mauricio Granda, was the husband of Maria Ynez Granda, who was found dead inside her apartment on East 79th Street Monday morning.
Sources say the 59-year-old Brooklyn woman had suffered head trauma.
Mauricio has been charged with murder.
Investigators are working to determine the exact cause of death.
