Tropical Storm Debby is expected to make its way up through Georgia and South Carolina.
New Jersey could see some rain from the storm later this week. Travelers at Newark Liberty International Airport are already feeling the effects.
At Newark airport, there are already more than 100 delays and over 100 cancellations. These numbers are expected to climb today. Travelers are advised to check their flight status before leaving the house.
For passengers whos flights are cancelled, the U.S. Department of Transportation says all consumers are entitled to a refund if the airline regardless of the reason, and if you decide not to travel. Passengers are also entitled to a refund if the airline made a significant schedule change and/or delays a flight and the consumer chooses not to travel.
