A Huntington man has died after crashing his car through a fence late Wednesday night in Dix Hills.

Police say Matthew Adcock was driving northbound on Dix Hills Road when the vehicle left the roadway, hit the fence and a large hedge around 11:25 p.m.

The 54-year-old was taken to Huntington Hospital and pronounced dead. Detectives believe he experienced a medical episode prior to the collision.
