A special festival celebrating Chinese art, culture and the fall season is now underway in Westchester County.

The Autumn Glow Festival is taking place at Glen Island in New Rochelle.

The event features hundreds of handmade Chinese lanterns crafted with LED lights and silk.

Organizers say each lantern tells a story inspired by Chinese legends, folklore and traditions.

Visitors can walk through illuminated displays while learning about Chinese culture and history. The festival runs through Nov. 1.
