A New Canaan man reflected on the life of Chuck Norris following the news of his passing Friday.

Roy Abramowitz is an accomplished martial artist that was able to meet Norris multiple times throughout this life.

"You know, Chuck Norris would say, if you could go through Martial Arts tests, you could do anything in life," he said.

The martial artist added that Norris will always be remembered for "working hard to empower young people through his humble and giving spirit."
