A fire in Commack has damaged a house and two vehicles on Harned Road.

The fire happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday and has since been put out.

Seven fire departments responded to the blaze.

Any injuries are unknown at this time.

"It's very scary. But also, sympathy for the family that lives over there. It's terrible," said Apoorva Khatri, who lives nearby. "Having your dwelling, where you live, on fire is the last thing you want to see."

The cause of the fire is under investigation, fire officials say.
