It's one of the busiest times of the year to travel. AAA says more than 122 million people will travel at least 50 miles from home between Dec. 20 and Jan. 1.

AAA says the best time to leave to get to your destination and dodge traffic is before 10 a.m.

Xavier Royal from Deer Park says he's seen a lot of aggressive drivers during the holiday travel period, even with snow and ice on the roads.

"People, when the seasons change – they don't change their driving, they just drive like it's a sunny day and unfortunately people have to pay for it with their lives or with their time," he said.
