High rip current risk in effect until at least Tuesday at the Jersey Shore

A high rip current risk is in effect from this morning until at least Tuesday evening at the Jersey Shore.
Lifeguards and beach officials are on high alert following two tragedies in the past two weeks.
A 13-year-old died while swimming in Belmar on Friday.
A 31-year-old man also died while in the water in Seaside Heights.

If you're caught in a rip current, try not to panic and swim with the shoreline until you're out.
