The Town of Hempstead says it is filing a lawsuit against the state and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority over the revised congestion pricing plan.
Town Supervisor Don Clavin says the way the controversial pricing plan was approved is illegal.
Clavin says state-mandated procedures were not followed. In addition, Clavin says the voices of millions of New Yorkers were silenced when the MTA did not hold a public comment period.
Hempstead's is one of at least eight lawsuits against the controversial pricing plan.
As News 12 has reported, President-elect Donald Trump has said he would stop the plan when he gets into office.
