Strong winds and heavy rain swept through Bay Ridge on Tuesday. Gusts exceeded 40 mph, and the rain is creating dangerous conditions for drivers and pedestrians. A live look from the Thunderbolt 12 camera showed rain pouring down and busy roads where drivers were urged to proceed with caution. The gusty conditions were evident on 3rd Avenue, where St. Patrick’s Day signs swayed back and forth in the wind. One Bay Ridge resident expressed frustration over the recent unpredictable weather. "Layer up. I don’t know what to wear when I get up," he said. Residents are advised to watch for fallen trees and street flooding.
