HEAT ALERT: Temps around 100 today and tomorrow, scattered storms could bring heavy rain later

Today will feature a mix of sun and clouds. It'll be hot and humid with a stray storm possible. Any of the thunderstorms can contain torrential rain. Local flooding is possible in the watch area.
The heat index will flirt with 100 degrees both today and tomorrow. The heat will peak on Thursday. A Bermuda high pressure system is responsible for our sultry conditions. Humidity levels will drop on Friday, but it will still be hot.
The weekend is a 50/50 split with Saturday being the better half. Sunday will feature more clouds and the chance of scattered storms. It will not be a washout.
