WHAT’S NEW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says some areas of western Connecticut will experience a heat wave this week. It will be warm and muggy overnight.

The remnants of Beryl will slide North and move up and over our region. The center of circulation won't hit us, but some of the tropical moisture may. This might enhance some of the downpours that could develop in storms later in the week.
