FORECAST:
Today's forecast high temperature is 91 degrees where it comes with humidity that may feel a bit overwhelming for some. The high temperatures, humidity, and haze linger for the next few days before an approaching front clears the air.
This front is moving slowly toward the state, arriving for Saturday with scattered thunderstorms. This will help push some of the smoky haze away from New Jersey. There could be a spot thunderstorm or two tonight over northern New Jersey, although it is a very low chance. Heat and humidity continue for tomorrow where there will be a better chance for bubbling clouds to produce scattered thunderstorms across the northern half of the state. The thinking is that the beaches will not be impacted.
Saturday's weather looks unstable with pop-up thunderstorms likely through the midday as the front passes. It won't be everywhere at the same time, so it's likely that Saturday will be "fair" with some interruptions. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s, near 90 for some.
Sunday looks good with thin clouds but relatively quiet weather conditions. A few sprinkles/showers are possible but look to be very limited.
