FORECAST:
Clouds slowly increase across New Jersey today, creating an overcast by nightfall.
Rain showers begin to develop after 9:30 p.m. and some rounds of rain will be heavy into tomorrow morning.
The rain showers will be on and off through Saturday. Unfortunately, Saturday is a soggy day. The afternoon rain may be lighter than the morning, but the presence of that rain may wash outdoor plans.
The rain continues to be on and off through Sunday although at a lower intensity. It will still be cloudy with little to no sun on Sunday. There will be more dry periods between the Sunday rounds of rain. Temperatures over the weekend will be in the lower 70s.
Monday remains unsettled as this stubborn weather front doesn't leave.
The stalled front eventually moves away on Tuesday with many clouds lingering through the midweek. A few rounds of lighter, but brief showers are possible for the midweek. Hopefully this encourages next weekend to be sunny.
