Mayor Arunan Arulampalam and the Hartford Police Department on Friday discussed some of the incidents that took place Thursday at an ICE protest in front of the federal courthouse.

The mayor says that protestors allegedly tried to block federal employees from leaving the building.

A person was also hit by a vehicle believed to be driven by a federal employee, according to the mayor.

Pepper spray was also used, and an object was thrown, damaging a car.

The incidents are all currently being investigated by Hartford Police.
