For hardware stores across the city, snow on the ground means cash on the counter.

With two major snow events so far this winter, customers like Anthony Cheeseman says he's had enough.

"Hopefully, we don’t get any snow, but we expect some, so be prepared," said Cheeseman

Business has been booming for hardware stores like Brooklyn's Best Locksmith and Hardware in Flatlands

Floor manager Les Veldes says the snow this season has been great for business.

“This season's been great, you know, because when all the big stores run out, everyone comes here," said Veldes.

News 12 previously reported about people turning to the shop for the first major snow event this winter.

“It hasn’t been like this in 10 years. This winter actually helps a lot more," said Veldes.
