Two shots-fired incidents within about 20 minutes of each other are under investigation in Bridgeport.

Police say nearly 25 rounds of gunfire were reported in the Greene Homes area around 7 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities say one person suffered injuries from shattered glass during the incident.

About 20 minutes later, officers responded to another shots-fired call on Main Street. Investigators say gunfire struck a fifth-floor window of a building.

Police say no one was injured in the second incident.

Authorities have not said whether the two shootings are connected. The investigation remains ongoing.
