Ritch Avenue West between Byram Shore Road and the entrance to Byram Park is currently closed to Greenwich residents.

The Greenwich Public Information Unit confirmed that the road closure was due to a motor vehicle accident that resulted in one death.

The investigation into what caused the crash remains active.

The road remains closed due to utility work being performed after investigators cleared the scene.
