A Great Neck man is under arrest after police say he pushed a 76-year-old woman to the ground following an argument in Great Neck.

According to Nassau County police, Michael Kane got into a verbal dispute with the woman over his dog running onto her lawn. Police say the argument escalated, and Kane allegedly shoved the woman to the ground.

The woman was taken to a hospital with pain along the left side of her body, including severe pain in her left hip, arm and leg, officials said.

Kane is charged with assault.
