Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson is putting itself on the “nice” list this winter as the park announces the return of the fan-favorite Holiday in the Park celebration. The park pulled the plug on last year’s event, informing pass-holders of the change in late July.
The park announced Tuesday that the “reimagined” version of the winter wonderland celebration will give guests a fully immersive experience, including festive food offerings, rides and holiday lights. Nightly tree-lighting events, carolers and seasonal characters will also be part of the updated holiday celebration.
“From glowing entryways to cozy winter villages, the park will be transformed into a living holiday storybook. Guests can explore immersive themed lands filled with elaborate décor, each designed to capture the spirit of the season with a fresh and modern twist,” Six Flags said in a statement.
The updated 2026 version of Holiday in the Park will feature three new immersive themed lands, walk-through attractions, photos with Santa Claus, cookie and gingerbread house decorating and seasonal food options. The park will also keep several thrill rides and kids’ areas open during the event.
According to Six Flags, the operating hours, dates, ride details and show lineup for Holiday in the Park 2026 will be announced at a later date.
