Gov.-elect Mikie Sherrill met with New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on Wednesday.

The two women posted about the meeting on social media.

Hochul said she is hopeful that she and Sherrill can find ways to make life more affordable for families on both sides of the Hudson River.

Sherrill says she is looking forward to having a strong partnership between New Jersey and New York.
