Gas prices are holding steady as of now, but drivers are still paying more than they were just weeks ago. The average price for a gallon of regular gas is $4.42, that’s 15 cents higher than last week and 45 cents higher than last month. Drivers looking to save can find lower prices at membership warehouse clubs.

At Costco in Ocean Township, regular gas was selling for about $4.25 a gallon, which is 17 cents below the state average. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, prices were a few cents cheaper than Costco. Regular gas was going for $4.22 a gallon, 20 cents below the average. For drivers filling up this week, membership warehouse clubs could offer some relief as gas prices remain high.
