The weather won't be nice, but it won't be a washout either. After seeing rain for most of the weekends this spring, this one is no different. That trend and pattern continue for now.
A cold front passed through last night and has now stalled nearby. This will be the focus for rain over the next several days as it lifts slightly north and south. Look for a period of rain to hit late tonight and into the first half of Saturday. The rain will be on and off, but it looks a bit more widespread through early Saturday afternoon.
Father's Day Sunday is actually trending a little drier. The front will stall south, which means the clouds will linger and temperatures will stay cooler. Highs will only reach the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. Showers return for late Sunday into Monday.
Warmer air surges northward again later next week. The rain will linger almost every day until a sharper front moves through later next week.
Look for that summer feel to return by Wednesday.
