A former NYPD commanding officer from Yonkers is facing federal bribery charges.
Kevin Taylor was the commanding officer of the department’s School Safety Division.
Prosecutors say he took tens of thousands of dollars in cash, meals, airfare and hotel stays from a Florida businessman.
He then allegedly tried to steer city contracts to that man’s company.
Taylor is accused of also trying to extort $75,000 from two people at another firm.
He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
