A former Hamilton Township Board of Education member previously accused of inappropriately touching children is facing additional sexual assault charges.

Two new victims, aged 11 and 12, have been identified in an ongoing investigation regarding Darnell Williams.

Claims that the Whiting resident sexually assaulted a child under the age of 13 first emerged last month.

Prosecutors say he is now charged with second-degree sexual assault and second-degree official misconduct.

Williams is being held in the Atlantic County Jail.
