A force main break has been reported on Co-op City Boulevard and Rombouts Avenue in the Bronx.

News 12 reached out to the Department of Environmental Protection, and they have crews on the scene investigating a water condition.

News 12 spoke to the DEP and they say it was a force main break.

According to DEP, "A force main is a pressurized sewer pipe that carries wastewater from a pumping station to a treatment facility."

DEP has confirmed that repairs are ongoing.
