FORECAST: Today’s weather is sticking to a familiar theme of cloudy skies with a chance of a few showers or storms.

If we see a few breaks of sunshine later on, that could give storms a boost. Some may become strong or even severe, with gusty winds being the main concern.

A warm front moves through later today into early Saturday. Ahead of that, more storms are possible.

Another round of storms could roll in with a cold front later in the day Saturday, and those could also pack a punch.

There is good news. Drier weather and some sunshine return Sunday as winds help clear things out. Cooler temperatures are headed our way next week!
