A five-time convicted felon is behind bars on new drug charges in Dutchess County.
City of Poughkeepsie police say officers found Andre Hendrix on the 600 block of Main Street this past Tuesday night.
It comes after he was previously arrested and charged with multiple felonies less than a week prior following a narcotics investigation.
That includes criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third and fourth degrees.
Police say detectives knew Hendrix was wanted by parole. He was booked and transported to Dutchess County Jail.
