An independent reviewer has been hired to examine the sexual harassment case against former interim chancellor John Maduko, the Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education announced Monday.
Maduko resigned in April following an investigation into his personal conduct. In May, it was announced he was facing sexual harassment allegations following a complaint filed by a female employee who accused him of sending sexually suggestive texts.
Grand River Solutions was selected to examine the Board of Regent's response to the incident and if the best procedures and practices were followed.
An initial report is expected to be given to the Board of Regents by June 30. The review is expected to conclude within three months. Findings will be made public once the report is completed.
