One firefighter was injured as a two-alarm fire engulfed a home in Prospect Park Wednesday afternoon, according to the FDNY.

The fire broke out at 525 Vanderbilt St., between 18th Street and Prospect Avenue, at 2:03 p.m. The blaze turned into a second alarm at 2:17 p.m.

Citizen video showed heavy flames and thick smoke pouring from the top of the home.

Officials say the firefighter suffered a minor injury. No additional injuries were reported.

The blaze was put out just before 3 p.m.

The cause is under investigation.
